The programme was organized and implemented to create awareness on the strategies and plans of the government and the Assembly to promote quality education in the country at large and the district is no exception. This will help make education more appealing to all.
The facilitator indicated that education is the backbone of every country and thus the people in Afigya Kwabre North also deserves the best to improve upon the academic performances of the pupils. During the programme, the facilitator shared a number of teaching and learning materials to all the head teachers of the various schools to make teaching and learning look more interesting. In addition to that, since the government of Ghana has delight in improving the health status of all girl child in the basic school, the education service has liaise with the health service to provide folic acid to all girl child in the various schools in the district.
The facilitator also distributed a number of covid-19 PPEs to all schools in the district to be shared to the pupils. He said in this era of covid-19, the school authorities should be keen on the children and make available all PPEs that has been given to them to cease the spread of the virus. The occasion was attended by the various stakeholders who contributed in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the project. A total of seventy two (72) participants attended the programme of which 41 were males and 31 were females.
