DISABILITY COMMON FUND DISBURSEMENT BY DCE

The 15th Disability Common Fund disbursement was carried out on Wednesday, 4th February 2026, bringing renewed hope and practical support to beneficiaries across several categories.
Under the education and training support program, fifteen (15) applicants were provided with assistance to pursue skills development and academic opportunities that will strengthen their prospects. In the area of medical and assistive device support, seven (7) applicants received devices and equipment designed to improve their health, mobility, and independence.
The disbursement also extended to income-generating initiatives. A total of twenty-three (23) applicants benefited under the main income-generating support category, while twenty-one (21) caregivers were supported under the caregiver income-generating category. These groups received items such as refrigerators, provisions, charcoal, industrial sewing machines, and other essential resources, carefully selected to help them establish or expand small-scale businesses.
