The District Assembly through the HIV focal person in collaboration with the District Health Directorate, successfully carried out several HIV screening and sensitization programmes across the District. These activities included HIV education and screening during the 6th March Independence Day celebrations, as well as sensitization programmes for taxi drivers and transport unions throughout the District
